Packing With ADHD

This is also what I tried to post last night.

Very little is actually accomplished toward tomorrow’s departure, but I’ve got a lot of piles around the house.  Amid the frantic dashing around, I managed to get nicely distracted enough to complete a good two hours of unpacking my office, which will make my husband happy.  Sort of.  It’s not done yet and I have hours of preparation and packing to do yet.  Dixon and I share the trait of....Squirrel!!!!!!!
A little laundry here, a few books there.  Dishes, snacks and lists.
Strategy- take heavier stuff in the car this trip.  But how much can you fit into a Prius?

Magazines, a new road atlas, about 30 hours of books on tape (we'll have to drive through Kansas,) and 12 place settings  of really fancy dishes--paid $26 a box at Ross.  It'll be a little like camping in a high rise.

Bad Blogger

The following is actually what I wrote last night, having had a bad encounter with Blogger.  Made me just slightly irate.

Blogger ate a finished post just when I tried to post it.  And it was a pretty good post where I had outlined some of the more outlandish roadside attractions that popped up during our research.  I tried and tried to create a post and kept getting the message Bad Request.  What do you mean Bad Request?  Am I asking you to rob a bank, Blogger?
So, during the course of this road trip, I’m likely to post things on one day bearing a clarifying date...indicating that Blogger had gone a little Glenn Beck on us (ie unstable) and we had to put the notes into a Pages document for later uploading.  Google, we love you, but what’s going on with Blogger?   It will get better.

Time-Slammed and Planning

This is the blog for Dixon and A.K. and assorted family members wishing to contribute photos and observations of their wanderings around the USA...but we'll also make allowances for those who stray beyond the borders of our fine country.

We'll get to the serious planning stages of Trip One soon, but Dixon and I have just come off seven days of volunteering at the US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals here in Boise and we're due at a concert in 30 minutes.  But we'd just settled on a blog name for our grand adventure--driving the Prius across country, hence the name PriUS as the catch all name for the "person" posting.  Is the plural of Prius Prii?

Time to run before the teenagers storm the house in search of concert tickets.
